It’s been quite some time since I posted any new internships. Most summer openings were filled long ago, but a few positions with later starts are starting to pop up. Some editorial positions are already being listed for fall! Expect more to be posted as they roll in, but here are some of my personal picks for great positions:

VOGUE Editor’s Assistant Internship, Fall 2010
VOGUE is looking for an intern for the fall semester to assist Editor Jessica Sailer starting August 30th at the latest, with availability to come in for training a few days in advance.
You must be able to work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. More days are preferred.

STELLA MCCARTNEY FASHION PR INTERNSHIP
Internship Description: Stella McCartney’s corporate office in Chelsea is seeking interns for the Fall 2010 semester available to start End of July-Early August. Interns will work directly with the US PR Manager to complete daily tasks including tagging publications for mention of Stella McCartney, daily clippings, corresponding with publications and stylists in regards to samples, checking in and preparing samples for fashion publications, stylists, and celebrities, coordinating pickups and deliveries, answering the phone, and assisting with specific fashion-related research projects.
Skills & Requirements: The ideal candidate should be available at least 4 full days per week and be detail-oriented, extremely organized, efficient, eager to learn, and computer-literate. Previous fashion experience a plus. This is a great position for those looking to expand their knowledge about both the PR and the fashion industry.
Hours/Week/Weekends: Eight-hour shifts/At least 4 days per week/No
Salary: Internships are only in exchange for academic credit

Odds are if you’re reading this three months from now, the position has been filled. Try asking about future positions instead.
