Jean-Paul Gaultier for Target

I’ve been wondering when images of this collection would show up. It doesn’t seem to be getting as much anticipatory press as Rodarte, even though in the grand scheme of things I think it’s an even BIGGER DEAL. The livejournal community Fashin posted some blurry camera phone photos of what looks to be a magazine editorial featuring the designer surrounded by models wearing the collection. I’m really liking what I see! Looks like the man responsible for Madonna’s cone bra and the costumes for “The Fifth Element” has teamed up with Target for one of the most wearable and adult looking designer collaborations collections so far.

The Jean-Paul Gaultier for Target collection will be released on February 7, 2010.
