For Vera Wang’s Spring 2012 show, Lucia Pieroni, makeup artist and Color Creator for Clé de Peau Beauté, was inspired by a “rich uptown girl, returning home after a week long music festival in the middle of a desert”.
The natural, glowy look was created by applying Cream Foundation SPF 26 using fingers to blend, yet retain an “unfinished yet dewy and radiant look”.
Eyebrow and Eyeliner Compact in 1 and 2 was used to enhance brows. Eye Color Quad in 208 (using the 2 lighter brown shades) was used to mimic a “sleepy” taupe smokey eye. Luminizing Face Enhancer in 12/Gold was dusted over cheek bones, on the bridge of the nose, around the temples, and at the cupid’s bow of the lips to create a “lit from within” effect. To complete the look, lips were finished with Enriched Lip Luminizer in 220/Honey Nuts.
